MultiCharger 1204R Flex Li

DEFA MultiCharger 1204R Flex Li is a 12V / 4A smart charger that is designed to maintain modern lithium batteries technology and prolong battery life. More compact than similar chargers in the category, it fits easily into most engine compartments. With flexible cables, the battery charger is easy to install.

Installation

The charger must be installed in accordance with the installation guide and DEFA´s original connection equipment must be used, see specific installation guide.

Use

• Only charge lithium batteries with an integrated Battery Management System (BMS)
• 4A charging current
• Advanced, battery friendly technology allows continuous operation
• Indicator light during use: green pulse – charging, green light – fully charged, red pulse – error
• Power distribution to DEFA engine heater and interior heater
• Integrated relay for switching DEFA engine heater and cabin heater on and off
• Splashproof (NEMA Type 3)

The battery charger functions whenever the system is plugged in. It works independently of the programmable control unit (if applicable) for the car heating system. The charger switches to maintenance mode when the battery is fully charged. This means that the charger can also be used during times that vehicle heating is not required but maintenance charging is, such as extended summer vacations.
