DEFA Balancer brings your DEFA Power installation to the next level of load management. The concept is a flexible and cost-efficient energy management solution for all types of charging facilities to fit your needs. DEFA Balancer is a current measurement unit which measures the junction capacity it is connected to.
How it works
DEFA Balancer S: Load balancing for system installations
To maximize accuracy and utilize the facility’s full capacity, DEFA Balancer S can be installed in any type of installation. Choose the variants of Sensor kits that fit your installations, in conjunction with DEFA Balancer S, and you will get a cost efficient and flexible solution.
Different combinations of DEFA Balancer S + Sensor Kits are adaptable to match the size of the junction capacity.
The DEFA Balancer S concept consists of the load balancing unit and three different Sensor Kits that are ordered separately:
DEFA Balancer: Load balancing for home and smaller installations
To optimize utilization of power in an installation with junction up to 80A, the DEFA Balancer can be installed.
DEFA Balancer for single installation has 3 x 80A* sensors included.

Commissioning
The commissioning process of DEFA Balancer is done by Installers through the DEFA Power Setup App. Click here for instructions and download guide.

DEFA Balancer is only compatible with DEFA Sensor Kits.
DEFA Balancer and DEFA Balancer S are compatible with DEFA Power.
