PlugIn relay contact (12V)
The DEFA 12V relay contacts are used to control engine and interior heaters via DEFA control units.
Description
DEFA relay contacts are designed for DEFA PlugIn contacts and used for controlling the engine and interior heater together with DEFA control units. DEFA PlugIn Relay 460854 and 460856 can be used together with both the SmartStartTM and Futura timers. At branching, use T or Y connectors.
DEFA PlugIn Relay 460854 gets its ground connection through the inlet cable.
Note! You also need a DEFA extension cable to connect this relay contact to your DEFA system.
Technical description
DEFA PlugIn Relay 460854 and 460856 is embedded in a suitable polyamide material. The relay contains solid brass rail connectors to ensure long-time durability.
DEFA AS is conforming to the requirements of both ISO 9001- 2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007. In addition to this, our engine heaters and cables are conforming to the requirements of ISO/TS 16949:2002.
Mounting
The relay is only to be connected to positive (X) red cable from a DEFA timer. The relay gets its negative signal through the PlugIn extension cable connected to the PlugIn connector (Y).
